Amanda Nash - Nursery Manager

My name is Amanda Nash and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in March 2007. I qualified with an NNEB  in 1987. I have also undertaken 6 years of study completing my BA Honours in Early Years Practice and gaining Early Years Professional Status in February 2012.

I have previousley been an Early Years teacher  supporting  all of our staff team in Tiddlywinks to enable them to provide high quality care and education for all children who attend Tiddlywinks Day Nursery. I will ensure the staff team exceed the standards set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage framework playing an active role in helping the children develop. Being able to support the staff team and watching the results for the children is fascinating and heart-warming.
I have had the wonderful opportunity of helping design and provide an outstanding environment in our new nursery in Bury that opened in January 2018. I am looking forward to providing the highest standarrd of care to our new children that start their journey at nursery and building a successful team. 
Jolie-Mae Lang - Baby Room Team Leader

My name is Jolie Lang and I started working at Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in July 2011 at our Hill Lane nursery. I gained promotion with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery to become the new Baby Room Team Leader at our Clayton nursery in June 2015. I am qualified with a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education, along with my NVQ Level 2 training in Team Leading. I have recently moved to our new nursery in Bury where i have been involved in setting up a warm, stuimulating environment for the baby room. I am looking forward to building up a new team and teaching them how we work.

I will work closely with my team in the Baby Room to ensure each child feels safe and secure in a warm, loving and stimulating environment. I will work closely in partnership with parents and carers to ensure each child's individual needs are met. I am a qualified paediatric first aider and have completed behaviour management and safeguarding children training.

Mellie Edgar - Preschool Room Team Leader

My name is Mellie Edgar and I started working at Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in February 2014. I have previously worked with Tiddlywinks for a number of years before I left to work elsewhere and try something new. I have been working with children since leaving school at 16 and I am qualified with a NVQ Level 3 and gained my Early Years Foundation Degree in 2016. I have recently had the exciting opportunity to move to our new nursery in Bury. As the team leader in the foundation room I aim to use my knowledge and experience to guide my team in to providing an environment that encouraged children to be curious, investigate and discover. I will provide activities that support the children's interests and challenge their thinking. I will also support my children to develop all of the skills to enable them to be school ready which will provide the best start to the childrens next big journey ahead of them.

Sarah Etchells - Tweenie Room Team Leader

My name is Sarah Etchells and I started working at Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in July 2014. I am qualified with a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and I have many years’ experience working with children, helping them learn and develop. I have recently moved to our new nursery in Bury, this has provided me with great experience of setting up an environment from scratch, i am really looking forward to building up a new team and teaching them how we work. I am looking forward to building new relationships with our new children and families. I aim to make each child’s time at Tiddlywinks enjoyable, fun and will help them with their confidence and social skills to use in later life. I will work closely with my team to support children in developing social and communication skills which will embed their learning in all areas of learning ensuring children learn to the nbest of their potential.

Charlotte White - Tweenie Room Early Years Practitioner (Maternity Leave)

My name is Charlotte White and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in September 2015. I am qualified with a level 2 in childcare and currently working to achieve my Level 3 in Childcare and Education to further my knowledge and implement skills within our nursery. I will provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment for the children to explore and take risks through a range of play activities in our Tweenie room. I enjoy a variety of musical interactions, dancing activities and energetic games with the children too.

Jennie Mansell - Deputy Nursery Manager

My name is Jennie Mansell and I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in May 2007. I am qualified with a BA Honours in Early Years Practice. I assisted in setting up our Tiddlywinks Crumpsall nursery in June 2008 when I was promoted to the Deputy Nursery Manager. I returned from maternity leave the February after as the Nursery Manager for Crumpsall. I have opted for a change of role and relocation to Tiddlywinks new nursery thast has ecently opened in Bury.

I will work to provide the highest quality of care for all of our children and support the staff team in providing excellent learning experiences within the nursery and the wider community.
