Amanda Nash - Early Years Teacher

My name is Amanda Nash and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in March 2007. I qualified with an NNEB  in 1987. I have recently undertaken 6 years of study completing my BA Honours in Early Years Practice and gaining Early Years Professional Status in February 2012.

I support all of our staff team to enable them to provide high quality care and education for all children who attend Tiddlywinks Day Nursery. I will ensure the staff team exceed the standards set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage framework playing an active role in helping the children develop. Being able to support the staff team and watching the results for the children is fascinating and heart-warming.
Jennie Mansell - Deputy Nursery Manager

My name is Jennie Mansell and I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in May 2007. I am qualified with a BA Honours in Early Years Practice. I assisted in setting up our Tiddlywinks Crumpsall nursery in June 2008 when I was promoted to the Deputy Nursery Manager. I returned from maternity leave the February after as the Nursery Manager for Crumpsall. I have opted for a change of role and relocation to Tiddlywinks new nursery opening soon near the town centre of Bury.

I will work to provide the highest quality of care for all of our children and support the staff team in providing excellent learning experiences within the nursery and the wider community.

Jolie-Mae Lang - Baby Room Team Leader

My name is Jolie Lang and I started working at Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in July 2011 at our Hill Lane nursery. I gained promotion with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery to become the new Baby Room Team Leader at our Clayton nursery in June 2015. I am qualified with a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education, along with my NVQ Level 2 training in Team Leading. I will work closely with my team in the Baby Room to ensure each child feels safe and secure in a warm, loving and stimulating environment. I will work closely in partnership with parents and carers to ensure each child's individual needs are met. I am a qualified paediatric first aider and have completed behaviour management and safeguarding children training.

Mellie Edgar - Tweenie Room Team Leader

My name is Mellie Edgar and I started working at Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in February 2014. I have previously worked with Tiddlywinks for a number of years before I left to work elsewhere and try something new. I have been working with children since leaving school at 16 and I am qualified with a NVQ Level 3 and currently studying towards my Early Years Foundation Degree. Being the team leader in the foundation room I aim to use my knowledge and experience to guide my team in to providing an environment that is stimulating, safe and challenging to the children. I like setting activities that will challenge the children and get them investigating and exploring their environment.

Sarah Etchells - Tweenie Room Early Years Practitioner

My name is Sarah Etchells and I started working at Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in July 2014. I am qualified with a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and I have many years’ experience working with children, helping them learn and develop. I aim to make each child’s time at Tiddlywinks enjoyable, fun and will help them with their confidence and social skills to use in later life. I will work closely with my team to guide each child and help them progress and prepare them for school readiness.

Charlotte White - Tweenie Room Early Years Practitioner (Maternity Leave)

My name is Charlotte White and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in September 2015. I am qualified with a level 2 in childcare and currently working to achieve my Level 3 in Childcare and Education to further my knowledge and implement skills within our nursery. I will provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment for the children to explore and take risks through a range of play activities in our Tweenie room. I enjoy a variety of musical interactions, dancing activities and energetic games with the children too.
