Gaynor Mott - Nursery Manager

My name is Gaynor Mott and I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in June 1999. I am qualified with a BTEC Diploma in Childhood Studies and in 2012 I studied for 3 years at Bolton University and graduated with an Early Years Foundation Degree.

I will use my experience, skills and knowledge to nurture the staff team to ensure we deliver "Outstanding" care and education to the children of today and future generations continuing to deliver the ethos Tiddlywinks has become recognised and celebrated for.

We identify that parents are the child's most important carers and educators and working in partnership with them we offer our guidance and support to make the whole family's time with us one they can cherish and remember for years to come.

I am the designated Safeguarding Officer, Behaviour management officer and a First Aider.

I am very passionate about my job and the children in my care.  I strive to ensure that during their time spent at Tiddlywinks they learn something new everyday which they can take with them through life, that they are happy and is the best start they can have on their journey in life. 

Natalie Beswick - Deputy Nursery Manager

My name is Natalie Beswick and I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in March 2002.

I am the Deputy Manager at our Higher Blackley Nursery. I am qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Level 3 NVQ in Playwork, I have an advanced appreticship in Leadership and Management and hold a first aid qualification

I am a Designated Safeguarding Officer and the lead SENDCo for the nursery and am currently studying to complete my level 5 in Managment.

I work with children because, I believe that it is my calling to help children become excited about learning, be engaged in the learning process and to excel in all that they do. I also want to instill curiostiy and a love of learning in children, so that they will always have a desire to explore, grow and develop.

I will work with my team to support each child and their family to meet childrens individual needs and interests Providing a warm and stimulating environment with tailored activities and play opportunities.

Amanda Nash - Early Years Teacher

My name is Amanda Nash and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in March 2007. I qualified with an NNEB  in 1987. I have recently undertaken 6 years of study completing my BA Honours in Early Years Practice and gaining Early Years Professional Status in February 2012.

I support all of our staff team to enable them to provide high quality care and education for all children who attend Tiddlywinks Day Nursery. I will ensure the staff team exceed the standards set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage framework playing an active role in helping the children develop. Being able to support the staff team and watching the results for the children is facsinating and heart-warming.
Elizabeth Pye - Senior Nursery Practitioner and Early Years Teacher

My name is Elizabeth Pye and I am an Early Years Teacher.  I have been qualified as an Early Years Teacher since 2015 and I have a degree in Educational Studies.  I have over 18 years’ experience working in schools, mainly with the Early Years Foundation Stage aged children. I commenced working at Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in April 2016 as the Foundation Room Team Leader where as part of a team I plan, prepare and carry out exciting activities with the children to help them achieve and develop their skills in all areas. 
I help set up a safe, happy and stimulating learning environment for the children to initiate their own play, explore and investigate and get them ready with the necessary skills to transition to school.  I will support the staff team and help them develop their skills and share ideas to make the learning environment an outstanding one.

Anna Kelly - Baby Room Team Leader

My name is Anna Kelly and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in March 2010. I am qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. I will work as part of the babyroom team to provide a warm, safe environment for children to learn and grow and build strong relationships with the parents and carers ensuring the best outcomes for their children. I will provide each child with a warm, loving welcome into our nursery and ensure the baby room team have a variety or fun and messy activities for each child to learn and develop as much as possible while having fun with their friends on their journey through our nursery. I am a qualifed First Aider.

Katie Hughes - Tweenie Room Team Leader

My name is Katie Hughes and I am First Aid trained and I am qualified with a Level 4 in Childcare and Education. I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery on 3rd September 2013 and I have really enjoyed working with all the staff and children since then. I will offer a warm and loving environment for the children and support their families in enhancing their learning and development. I will support my team in our daily routines and guide them to maintain the Outstanding practice on a daily basis.

Claire Lyons - Baby Room - Early Years Practitioner

My name is Claire Lyons and I started working for Tiddlywinks in January 2014. I am based in the Baby Room at our Higher Blackley nursery and I have my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education. I am currently at Bolton University studying for my Early Years Education in Childcare degree.  I aim to implement the wide range of skills and experience I have learnt from this course to teach the children a variety of exciting activities. I will provide each child with a lovely, warm welcoming into our baby room and ensure they have as much fun as possible on their journey to grow and develop.

Stephanie Gill - Baby Room - Early Years Practitioner

My name is Stephanie Gill and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in October 2015. I am currently working to achieve my Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education. I really enjoy teaching each child to grow and develop as they learn new things every day. I look forward to working closely with my team and the parents for the baby room. I will provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment for the children to learn, explore and play every day.

Courtney Howie - Baby Room - Early Years Apprentice

My name is Courtney Howie and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in March 2016. I am very excited to watch all of the children grow and develop through my teaching. I am currently working to achieve my Level 2 in Early years and Childhood Education and wish to progress further in my career in childcare. I am a very creative and artistic individual who is excited to do lots of messy activities to guide  the children to develop their gross motor skills, I like playing fun games and outdoor activities to meet all childrens needs.

Nadia Hughes - Tweenie Room - Early Years Practitioner

My name is Nadia Hughes and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in April 2016. I am a nursery practitioner based in our Tweenie room at our Higher Blackley nursery. I have previously worked with children for a local primary school for nearly twenty years, I will use all of my experience and creativity to provide each child with a warm welcoming into nursery and have a wide range of exciting and stimulating activities for all of the children to play and learn.

Jemma Pickering - Tweenie Room - Early Years Practitioner

My name is Jemma Pickering and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in February 2014. I am based at our Higher Blackley nursery in the Tweenie Room and I love working with all of the children and love how rewarding my job is. I will continue Tiddlywinks’ high standards of care by providing fun and stimulating activities to guide each child on their journey of development. I thrive on building a strong relationship with all of the staff and parents to share information for each child to develop and learn as much as possible on their journey with us as this is vitally important for both parents and Tiddlywinks Day Nursery.

Stacey Long - Tweenie Room - Early Years Practitioner (Maternity Leave)

My name is Stacey Long and I started working for Tiddlywinks in January 2014 and I am qualified with a NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Learning Development. I am based at the Tweenie Room here at Tiddllywinks' Higher Blackley nursery. I aim to provide a warm, inviting, fun learning environment for the children to grow and develop in the best way to suit their individual needs. I am based in the Tweenie Room on Monday & Tuesday, and Wednesday morning when our lovely tweenies attend their sessions.

Amy Jones - Foundation Room - Early Years Practitioner

Hi my name is Amy Jones and I am qualified with a BA Honors in Primary Education with a specialism in English in 2005. Prior to this I achieved my BTEC National Diploma Level 3 in Early Years in 2002.

I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in May 2017 in the Foundation Room. At nursery I enjoy teaching and engaging with the children in many exciting activities but I particularly enjoy baking activities and reading stories.

Watching children develop their skills and imagination is something I enjoy and I will encourage this through their play, helping them to explore their natural curiosity.

I look forward to sharing this adventure with you and your child.

Zoey McGuinness-Allott - Foundation Room - Early Years Practitioner

My name is Zoey McGuinness-Allott and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in September 2013. I am qualified with a CACHE level 3 Diploma in Childcare. My aim is to create a happy, stimulating learning environment for all of the children in our care.  I will teach them the skills they need to help them become independent, sociable and happy children.  I will work alongside our Early Years Teacher to help our children get "school ready" and give them the best start in life.

Olivia Neild - Foundation Room - Early Years Practitioner

My name is Olivia Neild and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in September 2012.  I am a qualified NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education. I have my First Aid qualification.  As I grow and develop my own skills and knowledge through regular training, I will work alongside the foundation room team to ensure the children are in a safe, caring environment. I will provide a warm, loving environment for each child to grow, develop and learn a wide range of their skills for their school readiness.

Kenzie-Jo Chapple - Foundation Room - Early Years Apprentice

My name is Kenzie and I have worked with Tiddlywinks Higher Blackley since February 2016. I am currently studying towards achieving my N.V.Q Level 2 in childcare and enjoy taking up any opportunity to develop my skills and knowledge  thorugh further training and development.

At Tiddlywinks' Higher Blackley nursery I have previosuly worked in the baby room and have recently moved up into the foundation room. I enjoy taking part in a wide variety of messy and sensory activities with the children and encouraging them to explore, make connections and develop new skills.  

Trish Keogh - Nursery Administrator

My name is Trish Keogh I started working at Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in October 2008. I am qualified with a City and Guilds level 3 in Computer Applications.

I work to support the Senior Management team and the Nursery Managers in their duties and provide admin support ensuring that the highest level of service is provided and will be professional in my duties when liaising with children and families and other professionals within the nursery.
