TOOSC at St Clare's R.C Primary School opened in May 2010. We are registered with Ofsted to take 40 children at any one time aged from three years to eleven years from collecting them from school till 6pm.

The out of school club here at St Clare’s is held in infants hall, we collect your child from their class and bring them back to the club. They’re usually ready for a drink and a snack, so there are plenty of healthy options on offer for the children.

We keep them happily entertained with lots of different activities, such as board games, arts and crafts and outdoor play. The children help our qualified play workers plan the activities that are taking place on a weekly basis.

We work in partnership with the school to provide a safe environment for your children to relax in after a busy day at school.

Each child is allocated a key-carer who will share and discuss your child’s achievements, experiences, progress and friendships, along with any difficulties that may arise with you on a regular basis. Each child also has a play journal which they can add to whenever they wish with support from their key-carer, who will also add photographs, artwork and observations.

We are a team of four members of staff, an experienced Playleader and three enthusiastic Playworkers who are all committed to providing fun, stimulating and exciting activities and experiences in a safe and secure play environment.

Two members of the team collect the infant children from their classroom's inside the building and lead them into the school hall, while the other two members of the team go outside to the junior building collecting the older children and leading them back to the infant hall. The older children are provided with high visibility jackets to wear ensuring their safety and security moving between the two buildings.
