Kelly Simpson - Creche & Toosc Manager

My name is Kelly Simpson and I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in September 2014 as the crèche and sessional manager. I am currently NVQ Level 4 qualified. I first started working in a nursery as an apprentice in 1998 and throughout my 7 years there worked my way up to team leader whilst completing my NVQ level 2 and 3 in childcare and education. I was eager to further my career and applied for a job with a new company as deputy manager and within my first year became manager which allowed me to develop the setting and support a large staff team to create a stimulating learning environment for the children in our care, I was later promoted to general manager and left the company to have my second child after 9 years. I am dedicated and motivated to supporting my new team and the company by continuing the outstanding work ethos within crèche and sessional care, ensuring all children are nurtured and encouraged to enjoy their time in our care and develop their skills within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Theresa O'Neill - Playworker

My name is Theresa O'Neill and I started working for Tiddlywinks in October 2010. I am a Playworker for TOOSC at St. Clare's Out of School Club and I am qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Playwork, along with an NVQ as a Teaching Assistant. I will make this a very happy place for the children to attend by ensuring individual needs are achieved and for the children to enjoy themselves.

Paige Jordan - Toosc Playworker

My name is Paige Jordan and I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in July 2016. I am currently working towards achieving my Level 3 certificate for Playworker course. I will ensure all of the children in my care can make new friends and play nicely with each other to further their knowledge and skills. I like creative activities and messy play resources for the children to explore and have fun with a range of activities.

 

Ben Mihell - Playworker

My name is Ben Mihell and I started working for Tiddlywinks in September 2011. I am a Playworker for TOOSC based at St. Clare's Out of School Club and I am qualified with a NVQ Level 3 in Playwork, a NVQ Level 3 in Business Leadership and Management, a BA Hons Degree in Business Management. I will provide each child with a safe and secure play environment to enjoy themselves on each session at our Out of School Club. I am an active individual who enjoys sports and outdoor activities as part of meeting the children's needs.

Shannon McDonagh - Toosc Playworker

My name is Shannon McDonagh and I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in September 2016. I am qualified with a Level 2 Teaching Assistant course and currently working towards achieving my Level 3 certificate for my Playworker course. I will provide each child with a warm welcome in to the after school club and ensure all of their needs are catered for. I enjoy a variety of sports games and I aim to provide a routine for the children to learn as much as possible and have fun whilst with us at Toosc.
