Kelly Simpson - Creche & Toosc Manager

My name is Kelly Simpson and I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in September 2014 as the crèche and sessional manager. I am currently NVQ Level 4 qualified. I first started working in a nursery as an apprentice in 1998 and throughout my 7 years there worked my way up to team leader whilst completing my NVQ level 2 and 3 in childcare and education. I was eager to further my career and applied for a job with a new company as deputy manager and within my first year became manager which allowed me to develop the setting and support a large staff team to create a stimulating learning environment for the children in our care, I was later promoted to general manager and left the company to have my second child after 9 years. I am dedicated and motivated to supporting my new team and the company by continuing the outstanding work ethos within crèche and sessional care, ensuring all children are nurtured and encouraged to enjoy their time in our care and develop their skills within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
