There are currently job vacancies available with the company as a crèche worker. The member of staff would be required to attend crèche sessions to provide the service for the parents, carers and children. Our crèche sessions are held in a number of children's centre across the North Manchester region and we work closely with Manchester City Council. Crèche Worker

Tiddlywinks Day Nursery is currently recruiting for a Crèche worker to deliver Crèches in North and East Manchester and join their friendly and professional team.

Job description:-

A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in childcare is desirable or the willingness to work towards, a level 2 is essential

You will have a good knowledge of child development, be able to carry out observations and plan suitable activities for pre-school aged children based on these and to supporting the whole family through our key worker system

Previous experience of working in a learning environment with children is essential

We are looking for happy and helpful team players, who have a passion for working with children and a drive to achieve outstanding practice.

You should be hard working whilst being caring and reliable at all times.

You should have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as take part in the wider nursery team.

You will need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to work with colleagues.

Previous experience of working with children in early years, and being a key person is desirable but not essential.

Must be able to contribute to the planning and preparation of all activities in the crèche in conjunction with colleagues

You will have a sound understanding of OFSTED and the revised EYFS Requirements

You will need to demonstrate your commitment to children at all times taking into consideration their wellbeing, safeguarding and development.

You will need to be an excellent communicator and demonstrate a professional level of written and communication skills.

You should be able to demonstrate your ability to work in partnership with families.

Ensure settling in and transitions through the nursery for all children are carefully considered and communicated well with parents, carers and colleagues, in line with our procedures.

Ensure completion of all children’s daily record keeping /daily parents’ feedback.

To have an understanding and ability to put into practice Safeguarding policies and procedures for every child

To ensure every child, family and colleague matters by implementing Inclusive Practice and working in partnership

Salary £7.00 per hour
