Our extremely large garden areas provide exceptional space for outdoor play and learning—something truly rare in the Ancoats area. We are fortunate to have three separate gardens, each offering unique opportunities for exploration, physical development and imaginative play.
We've forged strong links with the local library, art gallery and a nearby care home, enriching our curriculum with diverse, community-centric experiences. This creates a variety of unique learning opportunities, allowing children to explore a number of community environments.
Tiddlywinks Ancoats has always accomplished the greatest possible grades from Ofsted and we received another 'Outstanding' rating in our last inspection in April 2025. Our Ancoats nursery has a warm, homely feel, with a secure and stimulating environment for your children.
Tiddlywinks Nursery Ancoats offers a warm, urban feel with a unique blend of nature and city life. Our setting includes three spacious outdoor areas designed for exploration, along with our much-loved chickens that add to the children’s learning experiences. We also provide enhanced provision throughout the nursery, creating rich, stimulating opportunities that support every child’s development.

Charly has worked in the childcare industry for 16 years and is deeply passionate about supporting children’s early development. She finds joy in welcoming children as they begin their journey with us and watching them grow in confidence each day. As a Level 3 Early Years Educator, Charly is committed to giving every child the very best start in life through high-quality care, meaningful interactions, and a nurturing environment.
We’d like to say a really special thank you to everybody who has cared for Martha (and Tom) over the last five years.
