Based inside the Higher Blackley Children’s Centre, we work closely with the Sure Start network and connect families with programmes like ‘The Incredible Years’ — giving every child a flying start.
Since opening in 2007, our nursery has been dedicated to offering top-notch childcare in a warm, safe and engaging environment, complete with an inviting outdoor area that stimulates all the senses. Our prime location near local schools, forests, libraries, parks and shops allows our children to explore and learn about their local environment from an early age. Regular outings leverage the area’s resources for experiential learning — making us an integral part of the local community.

Cathy
Cathy has been a member of the Tiddlywinks Family for 25+ years, starting off as a nursery apprentice at our Hill Lane setting, back when we were just a single-site nursery. She has worked her way up through the company over the years to become a manager, where she is now based at our Higher Blackley setting. Cathy has a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, and qualifications such as DSL, First Aid, Behaviour Management and many more.
She is dedicated to ensuring that the children who attend our nursery get the best start they can in life, and has a passion for caring for and nurturing our children’s interests.
