Rated Outstanding by Ofsted on our very first inspection in February 2023 - across every judgement area: quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.
90% of our staff hold relevant childcare qualifications, with management and our preschool Team Leader holding BA (Hons) degrees. 75% of our team are parents themselves - bringing real-world empathy to every partnership with families.
We don’t stop at age 5. Our Out of School Club runs before- and after-school sessions for the local primary school, and our Holiday Club welcomes children aged 5-11 from any primary school across the school holidays.
Now firmly established in our setting in Bury, Tiddlywinks Walmersley continues to offer outstanding day care and early education for children aged 0-5 years, catering to 112 children. We also provide an Out of School Club with before- and after-school facilities serving the local Primary School, and a Holiday Club for children aged 5-11 from all primary schools. Tiddlywinks Walmersley stands as a beacon of quality childcare and education, deeply integrated into the local community and dedicated to creating enriching experiences for every child in our care.
