Now firmly established in our new setting, Tiddlywinks Walmersley continues to offer outstanding day care and early education for children aged 0-5 years, catering to 112 children. Additionally, we provide an Out of School Club with before and after school facilities serving the local Primary School and a Holiday Club for children aged 5-11 years for all primary schools.

Now firmly established in our new setting, Tiddlywinks Walmersley continues to offer outstanding day care and early education for children aged 0-5 years, catering to 112 children. Exceptional Nutrition
Our nursery cook, in collaboration with our catering manager, prepares fresh, healthy and nutritional top-quality daily meals on-site, creating seasonal specific tailored weekly menus.
We take special care of children with allergies, dietary requirements, or those who are weaning.
Working closely with parents, we ensure every child receives the best possible start in life in a safe, happy, and secure environment. Our dedicated team of Early Years Professionals offers a diverse range of activities to support child development and early learning.
Outstanding Ofsted Rating
On our very first inspection, we were rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted – a true testament of our commitment to provide top-tier childcare and education right from the start.
Community as a Classroom
We use the local area as an extended classroom, exploring the woods, lido, parks, shops, and beyond. Our trips include visits to Bury Transport Museum, Bury Art Museum, and China Town for broader learning experiences.
We offer a Breakfast and After School Club for Chesham Primary School and a holiday club for all local schools.
Qualified and Experienced Team
With 90% of our staff qualified and the management team and preschool Team Leader holding BA (Hons) qualifications, we ensure professional care. What’s more, 75% of our team are parents, enhancing our parent partnerships with trust and empathy.
