Ravensbury School Collection

Our Ravensbury School collection is based within the Clayton Children’s Centre and are registered to take up to 24 children in this setting. We collect the children from Ravensbury Primary School, walk back to Clayton Children’s Centre where our planned activities and snack is provided for every child.

We will provide a drink, snack and a variety of healthy options for the children to choose from. Lots of different activities, such as board games, arts and crafts or creative activities are available along with outdoor play.

The team includes a Playleader and 2 enthusiastic Playworkers who are all committed to providing fun, stimulating and exciting activities and experiences in a safe and secure play environment. We collect your child from their classroom or designated area in the playground, buddy up with staff or the older children whilst wearing high visibility jackets and calmly walk back to Higher Blackley Children’s Centre.

We work in partnership with the school to provide a safe environment for your children to relax in after a busy day at school.

“A great range of activities for gross and fine motor skills.  Lots of language being used in all areas.  So brilliant to see how engaged Emily is in all the activities.  Emily liked decorating the biscuits she said “It was fun”.  Had a super time at Stay & Play, the staff know all the children really well and support them with their learning at the right level through play.”

“We’d like to say a really special thank you to everybody who has cared for Martha (and Tom) over the last five years. From day one we never doubted that Tom and Martha were safe, happy, cared for and stimulated. We will miss you all but it’s nice to know that Martha can’t wait to go to school, many thanks and best wishes”
