Our nursery environment is continuously developing by the staff team showing pride in their work by making it a vibrant and stimulating environment for our children. The children’s views are considered by capturing their responses to what they like and do not like and any ideas they have. Our staff are highly motivated and some have a degree in early childhood studies which enables the teaching to be of a high standard and provide exceptional learning experiences for the children which enables them to be eager enthusiastic learners. Partnerships with parents is continuously developing as we really value our parents views and strive to build positive relationships and engage the parents in our events such as stay and play sessions, parents gatherings and update them regularly on their children’s learning.

COVID Update

At Tiddlywinks Nursery Group your safety, the safety of your children, visitors and our colleagues remains our number one priority. As such we have devised a Site Operating procedure which ensures the safety of anybody coming to visit the nursery during the COVID-19 outbreak.

As we have continued to operate during the pandemic we have had to ensure we have revised some of our normal day to day practices and put robust systems in place to help minimise the spread of COVID-19 within the nurseries.

Our nurseries all follow the System of Controls as defined by the Government in ‘Actions for Early Years Providers during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak’ to ensure that we continue to be operational during the Coronavirus outbreak whilst also keeping everyone as safe as possible.

Each nursery has a slightly amended version of this Site Operating procedure displayed here but the majority of the systems and procedures remain the same. If you are a new visitor to one of our nursery sites please contact the nursery to arrange an appointment and the nursery specific site operating procedures can be shared with you alongside our enhanced visitors policy.

Fees

Fees and billing are managed at our head office by a dedicated finance team who will produce your monthly bill. You will receive this notification via email which will provide you with a link to make payment.

Fees are calculated for the current month and the total amount of days of attendance within that period. We are registered with most childcare voucher companies for parents who receive childcare vouchers through their employment and this amount will be deducted from your monthly fee.

We are open 51 weeks per year as we close for a week over the Christmas period. We are closed on bank holidays and also for two staff training days a year.

To secure a place, one week’s applicable fee is to be paid before our gradual admission process can commence. This deposit is then deducted from your final payment once the nursery receives your 4 weeks’ written notice.

We do not have any hidden charges, nor do we charge administration or induction fees when you register. If you have siblings at Tiddlywinks Day Nursery, family discounts are available on your childcare fees (subject to terms & conditions)

If you have any queries with your billing or for general enquiries, please use the
