What is iConnect?

iConnect is the award winning online learning journal software for practitioners. It enables staff to save hours each week and reduces the need to spend time away from their key children. But it’s not just for learning journals, key-carers can carry out all of their admin tasks; from assessments to planning and next steps. iConnect is used by thousands of nurseries across the UK and there are over 700,000 observations logged each month.

Why use iConnect?

The introduction of iConnect in a setting can save hours of time, and allow practitioners to focus on their passion; nurturing and developing the children in their care.

Instant Observations

iConnect makes online learning journeys easy. You can log observations immediately as they happen, complete with photo or video, without taking time away from your children. Our nursery environment is continuously developing by the staff team showing pride in their work by making it a vibrant and stimulating environment for our children. The children’s views are considered by capturing their responses to what they like and do not like and any ideas they have. Our staff are highly motivated and some have a degree in early childhood studies which enables the teaching to be of a high standard and provide exceptional learning experiences for the children which enables them to be eager enthusiastic learners. Partnerships with parents is continuously developing as we really value our parents views and strive to build positive relationships and engage the parents in our events such as stay and play sessions, parents gatherings and update them regularly on their children’s learning.

Fees

Fees and billing are managed at our head office by a dedicated finance team who will produce your monthly bill. You will receive this notification via email which will provide you with a link to make payment.

Fees are calculated for the current month and the total amount of days of attendance within that period. We are registered with most childcare voucher companies for parents who receive childcare vouchers through their employment and this amount will be deducted from your monthly fee.

We are open 51 weeks per year as we close for a week over the Christmas period. We are closed on bank holidays and also for two staff training days a year.

To secure a place, one week’s applicable fee is to be paid before our gradual admission process can commence. This deposit is then deducted from your final payment once the nursery receives your 4 weeks’ written notice.

We do not have any hidden charges, nor do we charge administration or induction fees when you register. If you have siblings at Tiddlywinks Day Nursery, family discounts are available on your childcare fees (subject to terms & conditions)
